What is Male Menopause?

In the times we are living in today, it is understandable that you may be feeling down. We have all had to make adjustments to our daily routines. But is there more to it than being worried about COVID-19? Have you lost some of your energy, mental clarity, and possibly some muscle mass? If you are experiencing some of these symptoms and just flat out do not feel well, you may be experiencing depression caused by testosterone and HGH deficiency, also known as male “menopause” or androgen decline. Lower levels of these hormones can cause low production of serotonin, the “happy” hormone, causing men to feel out of control and leading to deep depression including mood swings, sadness, and anxiousness. This is potentially a very serious condition that needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

It is very important if you are feeling extremely depressed, that you have your levels of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) and testosterone checked. The staff at Oklahoma Men’s Clinic in Oklahoma City can help you get these important hormones in balance, and get you back to feeling like you have control of your life again. We will look at your medical history, talk to you about your symptoms, and order any tests that will determine how we can help you. Our medical professionals treat every man’s concerns individually, and will customize a treatment plan that will help you get back to being the man you want to be.

At Oklahoma Men’s Clinic, we care about your overall health needs. Call us today to make an appointment with our men’s healthcare specialists in Oklahoma City.
